The president of the Jami Mosque Passed away

It is with great sadness that we inform you that the president of Portsmouth Jami Mosque, Mr. Foyzur Rahman, has passed away on Thursday, 17 January 2019. (انا لله وانا اليه راجعون).

His Janazah (Funeral Prayer) will take place on Monday, 21 January 2019, after Zuhr prayer, at Portsmouth Jami Mosque. (Zuhr Prayer is at 1:00pm). The burial will be at Kingston cemetery, St Mary’s Road, PO1 5PQ.

We pray to Allah to accept his good deeds, forgive him and grant him paradise.

We also extend our heartiest condolences and prayer to his family. We pray that Allah grants them inner strength to get them through these difficult and sad moments.
